What does forest-raised mean?

Forest-raised pork means our pigs live the way nature intended—outdoors, in the woods, foraging freely. We rotate them to new forest areas every month or so. We supplement their diet with a carefully crafted local feed to ensure the perfect fat-to-muscle ratio. This method is better for the pigs, better for the land, and better for you—producing meat that’s richer in flavor and higher in nutrients like omega-3s, protein, and vitamins D and E.

It would be our pleasure to have you! While we don’t have regularly scheduled open daily hours, we are often home and we do offer scheduled pickups as well as occasional events so you can see where and how your food is grown. Keep an eye on our newsletter and social media for visit opportunities and gatherings.

Placing an order is simple. Just head to our online store and customize your order. Billy & Lily will be in touch to arrange pickup/delivery.

Yes! Once you place your deposit, we’ll send you a cut sheet where you can select your preferred cuts—chops, ribs, sausage, roasts, and more. You can even choose to include fat, bones, or organs if you’d like. If you’re new to ordering in bulk, we’re happy to walk you through the options so you feel confident in your choices.

Not at this time. We keep it local to ensure the quality and freshness of every order. All pickups happen either on the farm or at the USDA-inspected processing facility—no shipping delays, no mystery boxes, just real food ready for your table.

Yes! All our pork is processed through a USDA-inspected facility, vacuum-sealed, and clearly labeled. That means you can trust both the quality and safety of every cut you bring home.

Our pork is vacuum-sealed for freshness and can be safely stored in your freezer for up to 12 months. We also share cooking tips and recipes in our newsletter to help you enjoy every bite.
